Savathun is a member of the Hive pantheon, along with her brother Oryx and sister Xivu-Arath. They were empowered by the Worm Gods Yul, Eir, Xol, Ur and Akka granting them power as long as they follow their nature. Savathun's nature was to engage in lies and deception.
One aspect of her schemes is Savathun's song: an 8 note motif which indicates influence by Savathun.
